We are looking for

for an Engineering Manager who's just as comfortable writing code as leading the people who write it. This is a player-coach role - expect to spend about 70% of your time hands-on in the codebase, and 30% running the team: planning, setting goals, and clearing the way for four strong, self-sufficient engineers to do great work without hand-holding. If you want real ownership over both the product and the people building it, and you're genuinely excited about pushing AI tools into how a dev team actually works, this is your opportunity.

Get ready to

• Stay hands-on in the codebase - about 70% of your time is still shipping code, not just reviewing it

• Lead a small, senior team that runs independently: two strong frontend engineers, one senior backend engineer, and one QA

• Work daily across our stack which is: React 18.2, Next.js 14.2, Redux, and SCSS on the frontend (tested with Jest), PHP/Laravel on the backend, Playwright for QA automation

• Take on a steady stream of well-scoped work: new tests, A/B tests, funnel building related tasks

• Run weekly 1:1s, sprint planning, and goal-setting, translating tech-team priorities into KPIs your team actually understands

• Own developer performance: agree story-point targets together and keep half of every goal tied to real technical wins: faster page loads, tighter funnels, cleaner error tracking, refactoring, and more.

• Collaborate with other marketing teams like CRO, Data, Acquisition, Customer Support and more.

• Push AI adoption forward on the team
  

We expect you to

• Have real experience leading or mentoring engineers, and enjoy that as much as the hands-on side

• Be reliable and detail-oriented, the kind of manager who never lets the simple stuff slip

• Take ownership beyond your own tickets as you're accountable for what your whole team ships

• Work comfortably in React/Next.js day-to-day

• Be genuinely curious about AI-assisted development, and want to get your team actually using it

• Be fluent in English and Lithuanian

• Bonus points for:

  • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar)

  • Background in eCommerce or another fast-moving, DTC-style product environment
    

Salary

Gross salary range is from 6000 to 7600 EUR/month.

Location

Vilnius: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote.
